GM stops funding Cruise's robotaxi and folds it into its own ADAS work
In December 2024 GM said it would stop funding Cruise's robotaxi work and refocus autonomous driving on personal vehicles and ADAS, building on Super Cruise; the Cruise robotaxi wind-down followed in 2025 after safety problems.
