On 5 November 2026 OpenAI released ChatGPT Cyber, a model for cybersecurity work, limited to the top tier of its Daybreak Red programme. OpenAI says it scanned the Linux kernel and found flaws in Firefox.
In early November 2026 Meta acquired Conductor, a startup whose platform runs multiple AI coding agents in parallel workspaces. Conductor's cloud service was set to shut down on 20 November 2026.
